Description

Points of Interest is a generic extension for any rules system that allows the GM to set up custom map pins for points of interest on any image or map.

This extension works by adding a new menu to an image. To access this menu, simply click the map pin icon in the header of an image. This will open the Points of Interest list to the right of the image.

With the Points of Interest list open, you can drag/drop any record link onto the list to add it as a point of interest. Once in the list you can assign any token to the point of interest, and then drag that assigned token onto the image. This behavior is very similar to how one would assign tokens to creatures on the combat tracker, and then put those tokens on a map.

Then, you can open up the point of interest's record at any point by double-clicking the token on the image. You can set PoI's to be visible only to the GM, or to everyone. If a record in the PoI list supports being identified or unidentified, you can set the record's ID state directly from the list. PoI tokens on a map also have the display name that matches the record. If the record is unidentified, then the unidentified name will be used instead.
