As your players grow in power, they often find themselves in control of NPCs such as familiars, summoned creatures, or perhaps even undead raised through necromantic spells.

This extension removes some bookkeeping/tracking by the DM and allows the players to advance the initiative for NPCs in their control as long as they have their NPCs record sheet open.
