Insta-Dice is a Fantasy Grounds extension that provides the option to GMs (and optionally to players) to selectively, in real time, make rolls instantaneous.  Insta-Dice does not require changes to existing roll tables or purchased roll tables.  Insta-Dice works seamlessly with any existing locked or unlocked tables.

Insta-Dice is compatible with rulesets that use a standard set of dice (d20 - d0).  Non-standard dice, such as found in Conan, are not supported.  Colored standard dice are also supported.  If you have a specific ruleset you want supported, please post in the support thread prior to purchase.

Options available to the GM

1.  Enable and disable the extension without reload.

2.  Allows the GM to make Insta-Dice rolls their default. (IE instant rolls without having to hold down Shift-Alt)

3.  Allows the GM to enable Insta-Dice for players

4.  Allows players to make Insta-Dice rolls their default.  (IE instant rolls without having to hold down Shift-Alt)

We all love the roll of the dice but sometimes a loot table will require a large number of rolls each taking time to actually roll.  Insta-Dice saves the GM time with larger embedded loot and adventure tables by allowing instantaneous rolling of dice.  Without Insta-Dice rolling on the 2E - Table 84: Treasure Type A table takes over 45 seconds.  With Insta-Dice you hold Shift-Alt before rolling and that same table takes less than a second to complete.

With Insta-Dice: 1 second.

Please understand that Extensions == RISK.  We want users to understand that extensions are code that is added or overrides portions of code in the FGU application.  When the underlying code in FGU changes it can break an extension.  We will continue to update this extension as FGU changes.
