This adventure sets your players on a trail of blood, leading them onto a glacier just as chilling as the supernatural murder mystery they are about to uncover. The silent snow here covers many ancient secrets, testing their survival and investigation skills — and, not to mention, their sanity. The adventurers must keep hunting for answers, before the cold and horror of the Aurora Fields, the glacier beyond the mountains, overwhelm them.

Murder in the Shielding Peaks is designed for three-to-seven 4th-level to 6th-level characters and is optimized for five characters with an average party level (APL) of 5. Characters outside of this level range cannot participate in this adventure.
