Story Template Enhanced (extension)
Table Edit Extension

This module contains sample story templates that illustrate the various CoreRPG capabilities as well as the enhanced syntax supported by the Story Template Enhanced (extension). The intent is to provide free access to learn the story template syntax by examples and to illustrate the added capabilities supported by the extension.

Getting Started

After starting up FGU, go to module activation and look for Enhanced Story Templates and load it. After it is loaded, navigate to the Story Index window and select the Enhanced Story Templates group. You will see a list of stories that start with dashes and some numbered ones as well. The stories that start with dashes are informational - read them. The numbered stories are renderings of the templates using the Story Template Enhanced (extension).

You can access the story templates included by pressing the Templates button at the top of the Story Index window. After the Story Template Index window pops up, select the Enhanced Story Templates group for the list of story templates and advanced story templates included with this accessory (see below).

Similarly, the tables, items, and single image included and referenced by the story templates in this accessory are in the Enhanced Story Templates group of the Tables, Images, and Items Index windows respectively.

* The templates that require the extension to view are the template analog to Advanced Stories. Advanced Story Templates support is added by this extension and provides the same editing capabilities as Advanced Stories which support blocks that include: text only, header only, image only, dual column text, left text with right image, and right text with left image.

** The templates that require the extension to execute include enhanced template syntax that the CoreRPG template engine does not support. Though some templates that include the enhanced syntax may be viewable without the extension, the enhanced syntax will be ignored without the extension therefore rendering the template inoperable.

+ The Core RPG Test Cases are included to demonstrate that the Story Template Enhanced (extension) is backwards compatible with the CoreRPG template engine.

++ The Main Test Cases are included to demonstrate capabilities that only the Storey Template Enhanced (extension)  supports above and beyond what CoreRPG supports.
