Critical Flavor is a Fantasy Grounds 5E extension that automatically displays vivid, immersive text in the chat window whenever a natural 20 is rolled for an attack. Seamlessly integrated into gameplay, it requires no extra steps from the user.
The extension recognizes the damage type—slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning—based on the weapon used, and delivers one of several randomized messages that enhance the critical hit with dynamic, descriptive narration. You can also add your own custom messages for specific weapons, making your game even more personalized and engaging.
Installation is simple: just drop the .ext file into your Fantasy Grounds extensions folder. If you're using The Forge, the extension will appear in your Extensions list for quick activation. With Critical Flavor, every critical hit becomes a cinematic moment, bringing extra energy and excitement to your combat scenes.
