Full Description

The 2E Effects Importer allows you to bulk import multiple effect entries directly into the Fantasy Grounds Effects window. This is ideal for preparing armor bonuses, magic item effects, conditions, or class features in advance.

You define each effect in a simple, structured format, and the importer takes care of creating entries with the correct duration, visibility, and unit settings.

How It Works:

• Enter one effect per line in this format:
Label Text:::Duration Number:::Unit (optional):::GM (optional)
Example: Bless; ATK 1:::1:::MIN:::GM
• Supported Units (not case-sensitive): rnd, min, hr, day
• GM Flag: Use GM as the final value to mark the effect as GM-only
• Effects are created instantly under the Effects window list with a default public flag
• Each effect entry includes a duration number and unit, such as 5 minutes or 99 rounds

Use Cases:

• Magic Item templates (e.g., Cloak of Displacement; MISSCHANCE 50)
• Class-based bonuses (e.g., Rage; STR +2; AC -1)
• Spell effect automation (e.g., Haste; AC 2; INIT -2; MOVE x2)
• Environmental or conditional modifiers (e.g., Underwater; ATK -2)
