I’ve cataloged every creature in this book from firsthand encounters. Some I ran from. Some I shot. One or two I drank with. Don’t ask.

You’ll find notes on behavior, biology, and how to not die when one of these things decides you look tasty. I’ve included sketches, scans, and a few bloodstained pages I salvaged from less fortunate crews.

Use it. Ignore it. Burn it for warmth. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you.
