Description
Enable the extension, then use the sidebar icon to open the UI.
The DM should set the ante (# of coins for each round) and specify what a coin is (copper, silver, gold, etc).
Then simply click on the highlighted buttons. Generally this is:
- Collect Ante (DM)
- Teams roll (any player)
- Roll for an Event (DM)
- Resolve Rolls (DM)
- End Round (DM)
Some events allow re-rolls; the DM can clear a dice slot, which will re-enable the associated roll button.
The goal of the game is to get a stack of seven coins earning the pot.
The DM can select "Reset Game" whenever you're ready to stop; this will publish how much each team won or lost.
Note that winnings or losses are not automatically collected (since each team can have any number of members).
The current state of the game is stored in the database, so you stop and continue in a later session if desired.
As always, feedback is appreciated. Enjoy!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Ante: Each round begins with the DM/host collecting the Ante. This adds coins to the Pot and clears the board for new rolls.
The Rolls: Each team rolls their unique dice sets:
Navy: 3d6 (bonus for triples; automatic win for 18).
Smugglers: 2d10 (bonus for doubles or 20).
Pirates: d8 + d12 (bonus for doubles or 20).
The Event: Once all teams have rolled, the DM rolls the Event Die (d20). This triggers one of 20 unique nautical events that can shift coins, force rerolls, rotate stacks, etc.
The Resolution: The team with the highest total wins the round and adds a coin to their Stack.
Winning the Game: The first team to reach a Stack of 7 coins wins the entire game, claiming all stacks and the contents of the Pot!
