⚔️ 5E - Fighter 2024 Automations (Tactical Master & QoL)

Take your D&D 5E (2024 Rules) Fighter to the next level! This extension introduces comprehensive automation and massive Quality of Life (QoL) improvements. The module dynamically tracks, calculates, and prompts the most active features of the new Fighter, saving your table from constant manual tracking and forgotten abilities!


✨ Features Included

🧠 Level 2: Tactical Mind

  • Smart Prompts: Whenever the Fighter fails an Ability Check or Skill Check, the extension checks their sheet.

  • Resource Awareness: If they have Second Wind remaining, it sends a chat reminder to expend one use to add 1d10 to the roll (and reminds them the use is not expended if the check still fails!).

🏃 Level 5: Tactical Shift

  • Action Interception: When the player clicks the Heal button for Second Wind, the extension generates a visual chat message reminding the player they can move up to half their speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks.

🛡️ Level 9: Indomitable

  • Dynamic Calculation: If the Fighter fails a Saving Throw, the extension verifies they have Indomitable uses left.

  • Instant Math: It automatically calculates the exact Fighter class level and provides a chat prompt reminding them they can reroll with the correct bonus (+X) added to the die.

🗡️ Level 9: Tactical Master

Note: This specific feature requires the Weapon Mastery Automation Extension by Henix.

  • Interactive UI: When you hit with a mastery weapon, a pop-up window allows you to replace the weapon's base mastery with Push, Sap, or Slow.

  • Smart Resolution: The pop-up only triggers on a hit (or a miss with a Graze weapon), keeping the game moving quickly.

🎯 Level 13: Studied Attacks

  • 100% Automated Advantage: If the Fighter misses an attack, the extension automatically applies a unique "Studied Target" marker on the enemy and a custom Advantage effect on the Fighter.

  • Target-Specific & Asynchronous: The advantage is strictly bound to the creature you missed. You can attack other targets normally, and the Advantage will be waiting for you when you return to the "Studied" target. It auto-cleans once you hit!


⚙️ Setup & Best Practices

  1. Actions Tab: Ensure the player has created the Second Wind and Indomitable powers.

  2. Tracking: Set the maximum uses (in the Prepared field) and enable the checkboxes.

  3. Efficiency: The extension reads these checkboxes to prevent chat spam when the Fighter is out of resources.


📦 Compatibility & Dependencies

  • Ruleset: Designed for the D&D 5E (2024) Ruleset.

  • Dependencies: The "Tactical Master" features require the base Weapon Mastery extension to be loaded.

  • Standalone Features: All other features (Tactical Mind, Tactical Shift, Indomitable, and Studied Attacks) are completely independent and work on their own!
