Description
5E AoE Targeting adds real-time automatic token targeting to Fantasy Grounds Unity using existing AoE pointers, including circles, squares, cones, and lines.
Place your template, move it across the battlefield, and targets are instantly selected and deselected as tokens enter or leave the area of effect.
No manual targeting.
No stopping combat to count squares.
No “who’s inside?” discussions.
Just:
Draw → Position → Act.

Usage
Start combat, select your actor, and enable AoE Targeting from the map toolbar.
Draw your selected AoE shape and move it across the battlefield. Targets are automatically selected as tokens enter the area.
Players may also use existing shapes and templates during their turn.
Commands
/aoetarget on
Enable AoE Targeting for the current image.
/aoetarget off
Disable AoE Targeting for the current image.
/aoetarget status
Displays whether AoE Targeting is enabled.
/aoetarget self
Toggle self-targeting for the current image.
/aoetarget allies
Toggle ally-targeting for the current image.
/aoetarget enemies
Toggle enemy-targeting for the current image.
