The Original Visibility Fix!
Visibility Reworked changes how invisible creatures behave in Fantasy Grounds Unity by making them actually invisible to player characters who have no valid way to perceive them.
Fantasy Grounds already handles the normal 5E Invisible condition for attack and defense rules. This extension keeps that rules automation in place, but prevents the VTT from freely showing an invisible creature’s exact token position to players who should not be able to see it. The new visibility handling works per player character. One player with See Invisibility, Truesight, Blindsight, Gem of Seeing, Lantern of Revealing, or a reveal-style effect can see the invisible token, while another player who cannot perceive it still cannot see it.
Supported visibility and reveal checks include:
See Invisibility, Truesight, Blindsight, Gem of Seeing, Lantern of Revealing, Faerie Fire, Branding Smite, Shining Smite, Starry Wisp, Revealed, Outlined, Glowing, No Invisibility wording, and “can’t/cannot benefit from being invisible” style phrasing.
This does not remove the 5E rule that an invisible creature can still be attacked with disadvantage if its location is known or guessed. It simply stops the map from giving away that location for free.
GM Hide is still GM Hide. If the GM hides a token, it stays hidden from everyone. Visibility Reworked is for creatures that are present on the map, not GM-hidden, but are invisible by spell, feature, trait, item, or effect.
