5E Smart NPCs is just one part of the 5E Table Tools. This standalone extension helps GMs run complex 5E creatures inside Fantasy Grounds Unity by improving how NPC combat resources are tracked and presented.

It adds support for lair and legendary action helper actors in the Combat Tracker, helping place those turns where they belong instead of relying on memory or manual reminders. It also supports Legendary Resistance prompts and NPC spell slot / innate casting tracking, making high-level monsters easier to run during active combat.

Designed for GMs who want cleaner NPC handling without rewriting how Fantasy Grounds combat works, 5E Smart NPCs keeps the experience close to the native 5E ruleset while reducing bookkeeping at the table.

It also tracks NPC spell slots, innate spell uses, prepared spell upcasting, NPC cantrip scaling, and selected spell automation directly from the Combat Tracker.

If 5E Table Tools is loaded, 5E Smart NPCs automatically disables its own duplicate features so the two extensions do not overlap.
