WOB Private Chat adds a cleaner, more convenient way to handle private messages in Fantasy Grounds Unity by opening dedicated whisper windows for private conversations.

Instead of letting whispers get buried in the main chat log, this extension keeps each private exchange in its own reusable window. That makes it much easier for players and GMs to track secret conversations, side questions, hidden instructions, and one-to-one roleplay without losing the flow of the session.

This extension is especially useful for:

What It Does

• Opens a dedicated private chat window for whisper conversations
• Keeps the conversation history visible inside that window
• Lets you continue replying from the same window
• Supports /w and /r whisper workflows
• Adds a quick way to whisper the GM from chat
• Keeps the window open after sending so the conversation can continue naturally

How To Use It
There are several ways to start or continue a private conversation:

1. Right-click a character portrait and choose the whisper option.
2. Use /w to whisper a specific recipient.
3. Use /r to reply to the last whisper.
4. Use the GM whisper button in chat to quickly start a private message to the GM.

When a whisper conversation opens:

• a private chat window appears for that conversation
• the message history stays in that window
• type your reply in the reply field at the bottom
• press Send or hit Enter to send the message privately
• the reply field clears after sending
• the window stays open so you can keep chatting
